Well, I meant to push this live last night but closed down without doing so. And then, well, I spiked a fever last night and so am now a guest of the lovely Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Casino. We’ll be here to we can stay fever free and be sure nothing else pops up of concern so at least 3 days but hopefully that’s it. Coincidentally, on the same floor where I did transplant more than two years ago!
Yesterday we spent the early afternoon taking advantage of the nice weather and walked quite a bit (slowly) around Fenway, the Riverway, and other pretty areas near us. So we’ll let photos tell the story.
After about 11,000 steps or so, we arrived back at the hotel and found a few presents from the family for Stacy’s birthday. We might have eaten one of the two presents.
That’s been the day. We’ve made it through day +4 and are doing well enough. Just dealing with some ongoing fatigue and hoping we are getting closer to being cleared to go home. That’s not for at least 3-6 more days though. We then headed to an outdoor restaurant to finish the birthday celebration, of sorts before fever hit last night.
What a great day! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
I am in awe of your fight and the beauty of truth you speak.
